Should they not agree with an item on their report, A-Check provides applicants a toll free number to call for courteous, professional guidance on how to proceed with a dispute. Reinvestigations are provided free of charge to all A-Check America clients.

We understand the high stakes involved, for both the applicant and the employer. For that reason, we strive for a speedy 3-day or less reinvestigation, as opposed to the federally-allowed FCRA reinvestigation time of up to 45 days.

A-Check tracks the number of re-investigations carried out at the request of the report subject (or applicant). Data compiled over the past 12 months show that less than .0018 percent of all closed reports required an FCRA reinvestigation.  

If an applicant dispute results in changes to their report, an updated report is provided to the client and the applicant.
