SSA & DHS E-Verify Program
Electronically confirms eligibility of newly-hired employees to work in the United States. This program enables employers to quickly verify the work eligibility of newly-hired citizens and non-citizens by processing the I-9 Form over the Internet, querying Social Security Administration and Department of Homeland Security Databases. Participating employers must verify the status of all newly-hired workers within three days of hire. This search applies to all industries.
