Specimen Collection
A-Check America has over 3,000 collection sites throughout the U.S. Each site has a secured restroom and waiting area. The technician limits each candidate's time to three minutes and controls the collection equipment to prevent fraud. Proper chain-of-custody is followed, including our double-entry system where the donor and specimen are entered twice into a data bank, where the information is then checked and matched.
From this data bank, a bar code is generated ensuring strict confidentiality and complete accuracy. The bar-coded label assists us in monitoring the progress of the specimen through the testing process. A-Check America will provide all necessary documentation, collection costs (at our approved collection sites) and overnight courier service. Collections done at all third-party sites will be charged at cost.
