LAB-BASED TESTING

D.O.T. Drug Screening

Following proper chain-of-custody guidelines as directed by D.O.T. testing, A-Check America's drug screening processes follow simple paths to ensure consistent accuracy and prompt results for our clients. Give us your challenges and we'll find you a solution.

D.O.T. drug screening begins with the donor's visit to a certified collection site where a split specimen is taken in a rapid and non-intrusive manner. The specimen is then sent by overnight courier to a S.A.M.H.S.A Certified Laboratory for analysis.

Scrutinized by professional technicians, the results are forwarded to an MRO, who reviews the results and contacts the donor for explanation if necessary. The results are then forwarded to A-Check America, and the data is entered into a Drug Screening Report and delivered to our client.

This procedure tests for five basic drug categories: Following proper chain-of-custody regulations as set forth by the D.O.T., drug screening detects the illegal use of Amphetamines, Cocaine, Opiates, Marijuana, and Phencyclidine. Alcohol can also be detected at specific blood alcohol levels. The results of this screening are forwarded to a Medical Review Officer (MRO) from the laboratory and are then immediately sent to you.

Non-D.O.T. Drug Screening

Non-D.O.T drug screening follows the same path except for the MRO, who is removed from the process. A-Check America will handle the tasks normally reserved for the MRO(unless the client specifies MRO services as part of their plan).

This procedure works for a single or multiple site company. Reporting and billing can be established to one or multiple locations. Following a less complex screening process, non-D.O.T. testing analyzes urine samples for up to 10 categories of controlled substances to include: Amphetamines, Cocaine, Marijuana, Opiates, Phencyclidine, Barbiturates, Benzodiazepines, Methadone, Methaqualone, Propoxyphene, and Alcohol. All results are screened at a S.A.M.H.S.A/NIDA laboratory with positive results further screened through g.c/m.s. Results are reported the next business day.
