Urine Analysis
Urine Analysis provides evidence of recent drug use anywhere from 12 hours to 30 days depending on type of drug, frequency of use and donor's metabolism. Advantages of this method include low cost, longer detection window than oral fluids and detection of a wide variety of drug types. The limitation of this method is it may not detect drug use in the first few hours after use because no drug metabolites may have been released into the urine.
